Are You Sleepwalking Through Life or Are You Living Your Passion

Ask yourself what is really important and then have the courage to build your life around your answer.

Are you living your passion?? Most people are not. Why you might ask? The number one fear is speaking in front of a crowd. I would say that FEAR of stepping out and doing what you really want to do is right up there with speaking in front of a large crowd.

And then another reason could be that you don’t have any idea what your passion is. The internet has all kinds of websites to help you find out what your passions are. You don’t have to make a lot of money with your passion. Sometimes peace of mind is more important. Most people have buried their passions so deep within that they need some help to remind them exactly what their passions are. Life gets in the way and family, work, sick parents, procrastination, or raising children take precedence over everything else. The last thing you might have on your mind is what your passion is. One way to discover what is your passion is to start writing down all the things that make you happy. It could be writing, singing, or any other activity. Think about it. What do you do that comes so naturally without you having to think about it? What would you do for free because you love it so much? That would be your passion. You had it all along but didn’t pay attention to it. A good way to help you find out what your passion might be is to think back when you were a child. What were some of the things that you liked to do then? As we get older we get disconnected from the simple things that brought us joy. Make a list of all the things you enjoyed doing as a child. Would you enjoy doing some of those things now?

Do you constantly make excuses for why you haven’t started that business or why you haven’t gotten your Masters degree? Or whatever goal you have set for yourself? Are you sick and tired of yourself for making excuses for not making a change? You might keep telling yourself I’ll make the change tomorrow but tomorrow never comes, You have the motivation but you just can’t seem to follow through on your promises. You can’t afford to waste another moment being bored, unfulfilled and unsatisfied with your life. If you want to change your life, YOU have to be that change. Find your passion and be open to using it to start embracing your opportunities and CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Whatever you do, don’t compare yourself with someone else who might be doing what you might want to do already. Remember, they are not you.
